About Me:
I am Senator Eleanor Davis, from the wonderful state of Washington. I am a democrat and have been on the senate for four years. I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Growing up in such a diverse and almost different culture, I was able to visualize the reality of life, which so many people are in denial about. Spending my childhood and young adult life there gave me the understanding of what children are capable of doing and/or getting their hands on. Under-age pregnancies are one of the many issues in Louisiana, Washington, and all other states that families and individuals have to face everyday. Statistics nation-wide are increasing as the days go by, and it is up to people like me, people who know the reality of what is going on in our children’s lives, to put a stop to accidental teen pregnancies and aid our children in the knowledge they need to lead safe and happy lives. This is why it is crucial for our children to have the proper sex education instead of the abstinence-only programs that are not actually helping or supplying people with adequate helpful information.
